A too tight mask can indeed leak more than one that fits properly. It's sort of counter-intuitive, I guess.

Back when I tried a full face mask (1999), my problem was I had (and still have) a face with a lot of angles and valleys. These made getting a good fit impossible for me. I went for nasal pillows and the difference was like night and day. Everyone's physiology is different so it is hard to build equipment that works for everyone.

While you wait for other feedback, you might want to browse or search though earlier forum posts. Look for "leaks" or "air" and "eyes" or something similar.

Good luck on the search for *YOUR* right solution. It can be a lot of work and time, but when it clicks and you get truly good sleep, it's pretty awesome.
