Sleep docs in USA: how much ? ($$$)

I would like to know how much could it cost to see a sleep doc in USA.

I'm pretty much unhappy of what I get from the public health system here in Canada.

It seems that nothing will be done until I'll get in a severe condition (near death?). The sleep doc I saw acknowledged there's a big problem with my sleep (no deep and rem sleep, signs of heart problem). But he did nothing 'cause he said I need to be a more severe case to be added in the long list of people waiting many months for a treatment. I wonder how could I not be an enough severe case since my sleep problem get me unable to work or study since 4 years 1/2 (and big money problem, etc). My doc said that, after all, I'm not overweighted but thin, I'm young (23 now 27), and maybe the problem needs only time or a wonderfull event in my life to be solve by itself. I supposed it the kind a stupidity they say to get people not angry of not being more help.

And I wonder how can they ignore young people 'cause "it's not a usual profil for sleep problem", since young people still can give pretty much to the society in all their life, at the opposite of old people who are at the end of their life but get full of the help possible to get from the health system because their problem are easy to see in tests because they are in very severe condition. No problem with that but I would expect to get the same help...

Oh excuse me for the long text... I'm frustrated...

I just need to know how much I costs to be seen in a private sleep clinic in USA.
