This is why so many of us here in the US wonder why some of our fellow citizens wish to socialize our medical system. All you have to do is look at the thousands that are coming from other countries to use our system. Have you EVER heard of someone flying from the US to France, Spain, Austraila, Brazil, or Canada to get better service? Anyone? There is no government service that beats a free-market company providing the same service. That's just how it works. Competetion makes people do a better job - simple human nature.

When I went to Stanford there was a guy from Moscow! You might say that's because of Dr P's skills, BUT if it wasn't for our free-market system, Dr P probably wouldn't be here.

You might also say, what about poor people. Well, in Canada I suppose they get healthcare but there are many programs here in the US to get the lower income people healthcare. If I was poor, I'd still rather be in the US then Canada.

The rich get better health care in the US? SO WHAT? They get better health care no matter what country they're in. Anyone that uses that argument is submitting to envy.

I would encourage you to do whatever it takes to get your healthcare taken care of, specifically your apena. It can mess up your health big time. There are many people here that can help.
