Need some advice

Posted by jp22382 on July 14, 2005 at 18:33:50:

Hey all, I was diagnosed with mild OSA a few months ago after 2 sleep studies, got setup with a CPAP and a nice mask that is actually reasonably comfortable. In early June I got my septum fixed (it was severely blocking my left nasal passage) and had my tonsils removed. That has definitely improved breathing through my nose, and the swelling is all over with at this point.

I still am not feeling any better though, and it is becoming more difficult to not become frustrated. I am going back in for another study in a couple weeks to determine if the surgery did in fact make an improvement with my apnea.

Are there any other avenues I should pursue? Other forms of treatment? Other factors that can effect how I feel? Generally I really dont feel tired persay, but it seems like my head is in a fog all day, and it is hard to concentrate, which is effecting my work and schooling.

Thanks to anyone who sat and read all of this :)
