The reasons you give are the very reasons why sharing between patients is so critical. Sure it's subjective, but there is nothing but the subjective that is available. Objective information is dierly needed. Here are some prototypes of objective info:
"This doctor tried this or that new test/procedure and I think it did/did not help"
"This DME offered me these options and followed up in this manner"
"Here is a list of specialists in the ___ area"
Why can't we get non-judgmental, objective information? We are all adults and the ground rules can explicitly state that information is from the perspective of the giver of that information, and we all know that perspectives differ. But there is a real need for some way to know what/who is available and how they relate to patients.
