Thanks for all of your input. If I knew exactly why I had to retake the test and had whatever data was collected that night, I would be less upset. I saw my PCP today and he never got a report or any data on the first sleep study so he was clueless as to why a repeat study was requested, but he too, felt that getting another study was important in order to move forward. So I decided that while I wait for 10/12, I will get a copy of whatever data they have and see the reason for the repeat study. My guess is that there was not enough "sleep" due to the interruptions. I can tell you that I will definitely let my Tech know to cool it on the chin monitor if she gets any "noise" on the line and my PCP said to take an Ambien for the study since it does not appear that we will be comparing studies. :) NocNurse
