Contact soreness on nose

Posted by stormbringer on January 23, 2006 at 07:43:22:

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to the CPAP game. I love it. Have been using it for about 2 months and it's the best thing that has happened to me.

I have a bennet breeze with the nasal pillows. Works pretty well after I got used to it. I also have the ResMed S8 Escape w/ heated humidifier.

My issue is last week I had a cold with a runny nose and I developed contact sorness at the tip of my nose.

What is the best thing to use for the soreness? last time it happened I had to sleep without the mask for a couple of days.

My wife prefers the CPAP over my snoring ;)

Thanks

george
