Nope...I'm doing the surgery. No way I want to be tied to a machine or an appliance for the rest of my life. My apnea is strictly do to an under developed lower jaw. That is why we tried the appliance to be sure it could be corrected with actual jaw surgery.
I was just looking for an option while I was going through the palate expansion process, however, if CPAP goes through the nose then it is not going to work for me as my sinuses will be blocked for a few days. I guess I"m just going to have to suffer with less sleep for awhile. I know it will be worth it in the end so I will just tough it out I guess. Thanks for your reply though, I do appreciate it.
