I have a similar problem (also use nasal pillows with a GoodKnight ?420) - the sore develops on the right side of my nasal septum. The supply company suggests CPAP abstension for two nights with the concurrent use of a steroid cream (which I'm not wild about). My neurologist, contrary to my belief that it was caused by physical abrasion, tells me it's from the jet of air. I'm now using a humidifier attachment - to no avail. Although masks tend to leak, I may be forced into that route. Should I crank up the heat setting? Can one increase the humidification setting?
