Yes, I use a SNAPP and I use a white noise machine. I does solve the problem, as well as blocking out other noise during the night (or day). My wife and I started using one long before I got my CPAP when we lived in noisy New York City, and we still use it. Your SNAPP shouldn't be leaking all that much though. Check the size of your mask -- they come in different sizes, and maybe you need a larger one. Mine will sometimes make noise just through the vent as I breath, sounding like Darth Vader, but not all the time. Anyway, try a white noise machine; they are good.
