I am not an expert on the equipment but a quick look at any of the web stores for CPAP equipment shows a variety of AutoPap with heated Humidifers. Sounds like the Doc knows people but not equipment. Although he is correct in say water will damage the equipment which is why you empty it before travel or carring it. But the humidifers are design to work in conjunction with the CPAP and AutoPaps. look on the web and you will see what's avaible then you can ask for it through you r medical suplier, if you don't want to purchase from the web dealers.
