Does this happen only when he's asleep? If it also happens when he's awake it isn't exclusively "Sleep" Apnea! There is an alarm that can be attached to him to make sure that somebody is alerted should he stop breathing. Also, why isn't CPAP helping? He needs a heated humidifier even more than adult patients. The dryness can cause the sticking!
