sore throat and cpap

Posted by santasnore on February 10, 2006 at 06:32:53:

hey I have come down with a cold and have a sore throat, I went to bed and used my cpap, only to wake up in the middle of the night with my throat on fire. This is the first time I have been sick with a sore throat since starting cpap. I think that the air really dried out and aggitated my throat, I have a heated humidifier and used it. Just wondering what others have done when they have a sore throat due to illness. I thought I might turn up the humidifier to a higher setting, or do some go with out cpap when sick? any feedback would be great.
