Believe the nightly urinary frequency is caused by lack of a urine-suppressing hormone (might have the exact mechanism scrambled) called vasopressin. Lack of deep sleep caused by OSA in turn inhibits the normal nightly production of this hormone and we continue our daytime, wake-hours routine. Do a search on 'vasopressin' and you'll probably turn up more answers.
