This sounds more like an allergic reaction to something. Call your doctor and in the meantime, cover the mask with something like moleskin where it touches any skin. OTC Hydrocortisone cream might help the healing. I cannot imagine that you would sleep through humidity hot enough to burn. I'm not sure any of the humidifiers would even get that hot.
