SA means that air is not getting into your lungs properly. The oxygen content of air is sufficient unless you sleep in a very stuffy room. However, if another respiratory condition is present, or if a sleep test shows that your blood oxygen is too low despite that your Apnea is under control, you may be a candidate for oxygen. Note that for OSA patients, oxygen is administered in addition to (not instead of) xPAP!
