The determination of "severity" can sometimes be more of an art than a science. For instance, I only had 53 episodes per hour, but my blood oxygen fell to 55%! So it's not clear if your case is more severe than mine because you had more episodes, or mine is more severe because I had lower blood oxygen.

Also, measuring sleepiness is not very reliable. It's very much like measuring pain. Perception of sleepiness is affected by geneder, culture, and a number of other factors.
