Well in many ways it does not matter if it is severe or moderate, because you definitly have sleep apnea. and the cpap will be a key to a better night sleep. I can only speak for myself, but I had gone a long time with sleep apnea with out treatment, so after my first night on the cpap, I notice the difference. I had forgotten what a good night sleep felt like. Bad was normal to me, and feeling bad had also become normal. But I am now addicted to my cpap, I will never go back to what it was like, and I don't sleep with out it. I think you will be pleasenty surprise as to how you feel after a restful night, plus, there are so many health issues conected to sleep apnea, heart attacks, strokes, etc.. That even if you not feeling really bad, you should still want to use the cpap to keep your oxygen level normal. Good luck on your second study, and if you are like me when you wake up after using the cpap, you'll know the difference.
