I am so new.... and feel dumb asking this but I will ask anyway...

What is DME? and what does it mean to be 'titrated'.

I will probably get my first CPAP in a week or so - how does it work?
Do I go to a 'clinic' and try out masks, they show me how the machine works and I take it home?

They said something about a 'free first month' to check it out - BUT they set the pressure on the machine right?

Thanks for taking some of the anxiousness out of all this. I like to know what is going to happen - or at least have an idea.
