Using the search function in this Sleepnet forum for "letter of medical necessity" should provide you a sample. I "Googled" that term and found samples letters for air travel and to obtain a heated humidifier. Like D. H., I've traveled around the states and to Europe and Mexico, and the CPAP has never been questioned. One screener in Germany asked what was in the bag, and I said a CPAP machine. She then realized what it was and said, "Oh, ein Luftmachin!"
