An oxygen desaturation to 82% is significant. I'm not sure from your post whether that was a momentary dip. It sounds like you spent 17.6% of your sleep time at an oxygen desaturation of less than 90%, which is not good. However, I have no idea whether it's apnea-related or caused by your pulmonary disease. At any rate, significant oxygen desats will impact your daily life over the long run and you may want to talk with your doctor. Or you may want to continue making jokes about the whole thing.
