I think the auto titration is far more accurate than a sleeplab study.
If the patient is sent home with an apap and MANY nights data are used to determine the pressure, a better pressure is determined.
IMHO, I think that plain cpap is yesterdays technology and hope that more will soon realize this.
It is unfortunate that sleep techs and sleep lab people are not providing an input here.
Those who are not on apap are forever playing a guessing game without data to help them understand what is going on with them and their sleep.
No wonder there are so many questions and so few answers.
