Why "Help"? Because I was looking for some treatment that I could tolerate. From what I've read (here & elsewhere) sleep apnea is a serious condition, & if I have it I should seek treatment. BUT it has to be treatment that I can use - my doc prescribing something that I can't benefit from is a waste of time money & resources.

Also (again, from what I've read here & elsewhere) I don't seem to have the same signs/symptoms/problems that many sleep apnea sufferers experience. Which leads me even more to question the diagnosis.

Also "help" because if my fatigue isn't caused by sleep apnea, it must be caused by something else - & if that's the case, then I need to convince my pulmonary doc that we need to keep looking for the real problem which can (hopefully) lead to a solution. And the only way I can thnk of to convince him is to use (& not benefit from) sleep apnea treatment.

I apologize if anyone was offended by my seemingly flippant attitude. Since my lung cancer diagnosis, I've needed a defense mechanism to keep from going all-out wacka-wacka over the death sentence, & humor works quite well for me in that regard. Believe me, I'm the last person to make light of someone's health concerns.
