Any comprehensive list that may advise others when packing your CPAP equipment should include a warning to empty and dry humidifier chamber completely of water. Even a small amount of water left over can leak back into the machine and damage it. It might help also to leave a clean plastic bag in the CPAP carrying case and to advise that the mask should be put into the bag to keep it clean. Oh, and keep a supply of anticeptic wipes in the case as well. They come in handy when at the destination when wash water is not available.
