A setting of 5/6 is, for all practical purposes, a plain cpap with little room for the apap to work the way it was designed.
If this is fine with you, then all is well.

If your ahi are controlled at this setting, then you have found your optimal setting.
The problem with this is that your position and rem state can vary the pressure needed.
