Thanks SleepTimeGal
Two questions:
1) You say your AutoPAP responds to a reduction in airflow. What would cause a reduction in airflow besides an apnea?
2) Does your chart show that you are still having some apneas throughout the night ?
My docs opinion is that any apnea can cause disruption in sleep pattern thus causing "unrefreshing" (For lack of a better word) sleep.
He wants me to have no apneas throughout the night and in his opinion the only way to control this is by having a constant and not varying pressure.
I have a Remstar Auto + C-Flex which I have now set to function as a straight CPAP at constant pressure of 13.
I will use like this for a few months and then reanalyse the data as well as my response to treatment.
