Thanks very much for the advice. Yeah, depression is in the picture too but it's much less present when I'm sleeping properly. I'm pretty sure this is sleep-related because I'm feeling crummy in exactly the same way that I felt crummy before I started CPAP.

Saw the doc today. He thinks that my weight loss means that the pressure is now set too high, which would cause events. Since I plan to continue losing weight, he's going to try to get the insurance company to approve an APAP. In the meantime, he's dropping the pressure on my CPAP from 10 to 8.
