Hi, in responce to your query about apneas after treatment it is quite noticeable when you read arange of postings that some people have had to increase their cpap pressure after treatment and getting retitrated . Some have lost weight as well .I am not a doctor, but remember your sleep study is just a snap shot of you at that time whether sleeping well or not , with or without sinus , a cold etc . Some people report an APAP varying from say 9 to 14 in pressure over a month so you will vary in your sleep anyway .
Big question is are you feeling better , less sleepy during the day etc ?
Re Mask removal - is it a 1 off ,or frequent occurence ? I woke in a fright the first week several times rippig my mask off but settled as I got used to it .Try a search on this site using the search feature at the top of the page eg apnea mask removal or mask off and see what other people have posted in the past .
