Since I’ve only been on cpap for a month, I don’t think they’d really expect me to be feeling 100% yet anyway so I kind of think retitration might be out of the question for a while. And no, I don’t feel better. At first I did but I seem to have plateaued at that point.
The mask removal is getting to be a pretty frequent occurrence. The first week or two were fine but the last two weeks it has become more and more frequent. I know for a fact that last night I woke up with it on the floor at least 3 different times. In my muddled state of mind, I actually think it might have been more like 5 times.
And I just could NOT sleep last night! I tossed and turned like crazy (unusual for me, I usually lay pretty still). Couldn’t even lay down until after 11pm, each time that I woke up was a full awake because I got up and did something each time (went to the bathroom, changed the thermostat, rolled over, etc.), I finally woke up at around 5:45am with the mask in the floor, put it back on and tried to sleep until about 6:30am and then just got on out of bed. Also unusual for me because I usually can sleep when it gets to be daytime. It’s usually verrry hard to wake me up in the mornings!
