I'm a teacher as well and have been through a lot with sleep
apnea and depression. You may wish to consider a short-term
leave where you get partial pay while they cover your job with a
younger, cheaper substitute. At this time of the year it may be
beneficial to be off right to the end of June. That way the sub will
be starting shortly after your report card and taking them right
through. Then you could start back up again in September and
hopefully be feeliing much better and more in control of the
situation.

It takes a long time to recover from all of the sleep you've
missed and this may be just the right time to do it assuming you
have the right gear, pressure etc. Good luck!
