I've tried several pillows - the kind with tiny beans in them that
conform to the shape of your neck, the V type with foam as well as
regular pillows. I find the one filled with artificial filler of some kind
works best for me. It is non-allergenic and the edge of the pillow is
fairly firm which means laying on my side with my head at the edge
of the pillow, my head is straight and comfortable while the mask
sits open in the air. If the mask goes into the pillow it gets too
noisy for me and also tends to cause air leaks. That's why I prefer
sleeping at the edge of a firm pillow when on my side.
