Definitely rule in or out early stage diabetes. If it is diabetes and you deal with it early it's so much better than later!
On the other hand, dry mouth is often caused by excessive mouth breathing, which is common among apneics that have upper airway problems (sinus and other nasal congestions etc).
Also, nighttime urination is very common with apnea. The body normally produces a substance that suppress signals from the bladder (allowing us to sleep through the night), but apnea reduces the level of this chemical - thus nighttime awakenings to urinate.
Another data point is the sleep problems getting worse on your back. This is often a marker for apnea, which in many people (myself included) is positional - getting wrose on the back and better on the side.
Bottom line, though - your sleep study did not find signs of apnea. So before you try another study, investigate the diabetes possibility.
