thanks for the response...you are correct, it is a disorder not a disease...i wouldn't dream of trying to block up my mask and create my own version of dead space...i am going for a new sleep study in may where they will work on a dead space mask for me...unfortunately, i must use a full face mask and there are only three that are available to me right now...i use the ultramirage as the other two leak very badly...your idea about the new auto bi-pap is taken to heart...i'll talk to my doctor about that...it seems like it is good technology...i'm wondering why they haven't brought it up...
