How much water do you use in the humidifier every night? You should be using over half. If not, turn up the heat.

There are many postings on this subject in previous forums. Try doing searches on 'irrigation,' 'grossan,' 'congestion,' and anything else you can think of that might be related.

Most people are better on CPAP with heated humidity. I would suspect some other possibly undiagnosed condition such as a low grade infection or allergies. A thorough workup by an ENT might be in order. Good luck.
