I agree with Sleepytimegal. You need to see an ENT or an allergist. I had the same trouble when I first began CPAP. I sat in the doctor's office and said "I can't breathe with this thing on!" He tested my oxygen level right then and was surprised to see my O2 levels drop! He sent me to an ENT and an allergist. Turns out I am allergic to half of the world! The allergies led to sinus problems.

Now I am treating it with zyterc.Astilin spray, and Flonase nasal spray. Also use saline mist. I go for a massage once a month and they work on opening the sinus canals. I also get allergy shots once a month. All this has helped

Breathing steam often helps. I go in my hot tub ot take a bath or shower.

When it gets real bad, I take a benedryl.

The massage therapist sugessted using oil of peppermint. I dab it on my sinuses and cup my hands over it to make a tent. This lets me breathe the strong pepermint smell.

Simply Saline is a good nasal spray to try. I cleans out the nose gently.

Good luck! It took me almost a year to get set up with the right doctor but treatments have lead to improvements with the CPAP.

I also switched to an auto Pap. It is much better for me. the constant pressure was blowing the nasal drip into my ears and causing trouble.

Good luck! Keep searching until you find the right doctor to help you.
