First night on APAP

Posted by murph on March 30, 2006 at 03:27:29:

I hate to jinx things by posting after one night, but after my first night on APAP I already feel the difference. By the end of my shower I felt awake and aware, and now I'm feeling somewhat energetic even though my coffee's still brewing. Unlike when I was on CPAP (yesterday and yesterday and yesterday), my stomach isn't full of air and I'm not burping .

The DME tech who brought the machine said something about checking for compliance and sending me back to CPAP (presumable with new settings) after a week. But if I keep feeling improved with APAP, I'm going to fight tooth and nail before giving up this machine.
