I'm right behind you brother! I just got my 1st CPAP nine days ago - I smoke and have no intention of quitting...
I was so well rested after my Sleep Study, I eagerly waited for my CPAP to be delivered - and thought as you did - just plug my nose in it and all my problems would go away...
HAH! What a troublesome week I was in for - gasping, claustrophobia, head gear too tight & still leaking - I was getting even less sleep, if that was even possible - but finally my body started to adapt and at Day 9 I got my first 4.5 hour sleep...
yeah sure, I'm still tired too - but I know it's going to get better... Now, if I can just get this old obsolete RemStar+ (w/o CFlex - TNX Apria!) replaced with a nice APAP in a couple of weeks - hmmm, maybe the new M-series will be avail by then...
