The first CPAP I purchased I went through the suplier suggested at hospital, insurance paid for 80% leaving me with a bill of about $850.00 I just recently purchased a new machine online no insurance but the cost was 600.00 with shipping. Not sure why I want to use insurance, if it cost me more. But I guess this is an individual choice, do you trust things on the Internet? there is a potential to get ripped off anywhere, and you may have difficulties with getting service. Best is to do some research, try and cover all the pros and cons and then make a choice.

But you do have to wonder why its so much more expensive when you use insurance? Hmmmm..?
