Many standard models do go up to 20; few, if any, go beyond that. By "fibbing" about the altitude, you can force models that have manual altitude adjustment up to 21. This will work unless you're already at or near the maximum altitude. However, it's not officially approved. It probably a violates FDA rules to do this.
