I guess I have an image of a typical OSA as more robust, short neck and snoring.

Colin put on 5kg over the 5 years he has been sick, and has nearly lost this now. I guess I am someone who needs to understand why this is happening, and the only answer I was given was that he was getting older and put on 5kg. That didn't seem to cover it, especially since he is suseptable to autoimmune diseases. It also does not fit why his breathing has got worse over the period that he has done everything he can to manage it ... weight loss and treating his hypothyroid.
Thanks for your thoughts, awaiting a referal to another OSA doctor
