Well here’s something. Since you slept so well at the sleep lab, the question almost asks itself! The question being, “ . . . what’s different about the sleep lab than your bedroom?”

Here are some possible things to look for:
· The elevation (above sea level) of your house vs. the sleep lab.
· The bedding and pillows.
· The mattress and box spring.
· The air quality.
· The temperature and humidity.
· The presence of allergens and irritants, especially the presence of tobacco smoke in your home. Pets can also be a big problem, as can plants. Even the carpet and wallpaper are potential problems. Another potential problem is dust.
· The presence of noise, light, and other disturbances.
· Any other differences that you can think of.
