Intersting string of info here. I guess I thought C-flex was equivalent to the auto features on the ResMed S8? I have tried to find how the RemStar Auto w/ C-Flex compares to the ResMed S8 and have not been able to find a side by side comparison and it appears I will have to do that analysis myself (oh, the pains of being an engineer!). I am considering going to an auto machine simply because I do not believe that an effective treatment is limited to or as simple as a constant pressure setting. I currently have the bulkier RemStar Plus box and would like to consider an auto setup ... not sure about the humidifier, but it may be a nice feature that I have not enjoyed yet. Thanks, Dennis
