night terrors?

Posted by Crazyshakes on April 25, 2006 at 09:52:23:

Just wondering if waking up, eyes moving back and forth (like REM) right arm (possibly both) shaking, mouth stuck open, tongue to roof of mouth) head pushing into pillow is symptom of night terrors? I had this happen while sleeping on my right side. The eyes stopped, the shaking last a few seconds longer. Afterwards, when I could move I freaked out, started to gasp for air. I tried to call hubby's name when my eyes were crazy but couldn't I think I might have just gotten a moan or 'sound' out. This is all happened quickly and I would lasted less than a minute.
A few night later my legs started to shake, but thats it. It felt like electricity. I had just woken up in the middle of the night when it happened. I've had the shakes happen before in the middle of the night, its freaky how it feels. It feels different than being awakened quickly and feel you shakey.
Help!
