In addition to CPAP, I also use a device to treat Bruzism (grinding of teeth). The dentist - who really had very little idea of what a CPAP is - seemed to know exactly what to do to fix a problem where the device was pinching my upper lip against the CPAP mask. He trimmed away a small amount of the device.

I don't think that this is really the same type of device, but it does seem to promote better sleep than CPAP alone. This device does not stop grinding; it merely protects the teeth.
