Can your O2 drop-off be attributed to pulmonary disease? Can it be attributed to obesity? If pulmonary disease, you should be considered for oxygen, but if for obesity, it should be a considered a sign to lose weight. Dependence on oxygen is nothing you want to consider as an option. It should, rather, be to save a life.

If CPAP isn't keeping the O2 above 90%, other options should be tried. Use of an MRD dental appliance in conjunction with CPAP should be looked into, IMHO.
