If you are having apneas and that is the reason your blood o2 is low, then the apnea is the source of the problem. If you are not getting enough oxygen because of some other breathing issue, then the doctor would probably ok the oxygen. Lots of people without apnea have oxygen prescribed at home, so my guess is your problem may be that your prescribed cpap pressure is too low. If you have the correct pressure, I suspect your oxygen level would get back to the 95+ % where it should be. The o2 delivery system my aunt has is a canula tubing which goes over her ears and into both nostrils. Yours could go thru the port on a nasal or full face mask if that is the remedy prescribed by the doctor. Good luck on your search for better health.
