Sleep Apnea Confirmed

Posted by iamthekavorka on May 03, 2006 at 18:01:29:

I did my first study on April 10, and then went for my second with a titration on the 26th. Well I went in for my follow-up with my referring doctor and it turns out I have "severe sleep apnea." My original AHI was 40.2 with 6 obstructive, 2 mixed, and 1 central apnea, and also 241 hypopneas. My saturation dropped to a low of 80%. Well, with the titration, all of my snoring (pretty bad snoring at that) was almost completely eliminated, and I did not have any apneas after they raised my titration to 11. I should be getting my CPAP within the next week. I can't wait to feel like I did after that second study.
