My DME's response was that as long as the results show that the machine corrects the pressure for any apneas that occur, then it is doing its job and everything is fine. I definitely slept better last night, only two apneas in 7 hours, and both were of less than 15 seconds duration.

I had asked the DME about central apneas when I brought in my initial smart card after one month of using the new S8 Vantage machine. He showed me someone else's work-up and what central apneas look like, compared to regular apneas that were on my results. Then I bought the software and card reader so that I could monitor my own results, which is why I have had so many questions the last four days.

I'm going to continue to see what pressure range seems to be best.

Thanks again for your help.
