Sorry, I meant the oxygen mask is only used by the doctors if they do minor surgery or a biopsy during the colonoscopy. If they do that, then the oxygen mask would help the OSA problems in a similar way to a CPAP and also monitor breathing in case there was a problem. That's why a CPAP isn't needed during a colonoscopy. I didn't mean to suggest using an oxygen mask instead of a CPAP in daily life.
