D H , I hope you get an autopap.
Like you, I have been on this forum since the early 17th century.

I have learned more about my sleep and PAP in general since I got an apap back in December than the previous 8 years.

Get one with the software and a whole new world will open for you.
If you had an apap now, you may not need another sleep study.
Patients know NOTHING about their sleep architecture with plain cpap and have only their subjective feelings to report to a usually uninformed or apathetic sleep doc.

Insist on an APAP with your doc. The price is the same with insurance and an APAP can be provided, even if a cpap is prescribed.
